3. Once the training has been completed and you are on your way to becoming a qualified security guard, you will need to have a uniform, most companies will supply this to you at no charge.
4. Armed guards make more than regular security guards so it only makes sense to get as much information as possible. Usually an additional license is required and better pay is involved with an increase of responsibility as well.
5. Always remember that there is a big difference between an armed security guard and a police officer. You are not required put your life on the line as policemen have to do in some cases.
6. Many companies have in house security guards which allows for security guards to work directly for the client rather than through a third party.
